Project Overview

Retro Music is a stylized Apple Music client that wraps your entire library in nostalgic hardware aesthetics. From the green glow of a CRT terminal to the purple haze of synthwave, every screen feels like stepping into a classic console or computer.

🎯 Key Features

42 Retro Themes: Pick from CRT Terminal, Game Boy, NES, SNES RPG, Sega Genesis, Commodore 64, PlayStation, VHS Synthwave, and dozens more. Each theme transforms typography, colors, and UI chrome across the entire app.

Full Apple Music Integration: Browse HOME, BROWSE, LIBRARY, and SEARCH tabs. Play albums, playlists, and charts with shuffle, repeat, queue management, and AirPlay casting.

Now Playing & Lyrics: A fullscreen player with album art, progress controls, and synced lyrics powered by LRCLib. Mini player keeps tracks going while you explore.

Discovery Shelves: Recently loved tracks, genre browsing, charts, and curated shelves help you find your next favorite song without leaving the retro vibe.

Widgets & App Icons: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets match your chosen theme. Alternate app icons let the app look as retro on your home screen as it does inside.

🌟 Impact

Retro Music proves that utility apps can have personality. It turns everyday music listening into a nostalgic experience — perfect for retro gamers, aesthetic lovers, and anyone who wants Apple Music to feel a little more fun.
