This Privacy Policy describes how Pankaj Gaikar (“we”, “us”, “Service Provider”) handles information when you use the Sobriety Tracker mobile application (“App”) for iPhone and iPad, including related widgets, App Intents, and Live Activities.
Sobriety trackers. Start dates, tracker names, addiction types, milestone progress, money-saved settings, and relapse history are stored locally using SwiftData.
Journal. Text entries and photos you attach (up to three per entry) are stored on your device.
Check-ins and mood. Daily check-in logs and optional mood or craving levels are stored locally.
Settings. Theme choice, notification preferences, app lock settings, discreet share mode, and SOS contact name and phone number are stored locally.
Widgets and App Group. A lightweight snapshot of your active counter (days sober, tracker name, theme) may be written to a shared App Group container so home screen and lock screen widgets can display your progress.
When you enable iCloud backup, your trackers, journal entries, check-ins, milestones, and related app data are synced to your personal iCloud account through Apple CloudKit. We do not operate a separate server or receive your Apple ID password. Data in iCloud is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
If you enable mood logging or HealthKit sync, the App may write mindful session minutes, mood samples, or related health data to Apple Health on your device. The App reads and writes only the HealthKit types you authorize in iOS Settings. We do not receive this data on our servers.
You can export your data to CSV from Settings. Uninstalling the App removes on-device data. To remove iCloud-backed data, disable iCloud backup in the App and manage iCloud storage in iOS Settings, or delete the App and associated iCloud data from your device.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
The Service Provider is based in India. By using the App, you understand that information processed through Apple services (iCloud, HealthKit, App Store) may be handled in countries where Apple operates.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
