This Privacy Policy describes how Pankaj Gaikar (“we”, “us”, “Service Provider”) handles information when you use the Workout Social mobile application (“App”) for iPhone, including Share Studio export and related features.
Design preferences. Layout, theme, metric visibility, export size, and similar Share Studio settings are stored locally (for example in app preferences).
Exports you create. Images, videos, and overlays you export are written to storage you choose (Photos, Files, or the share sheet destination). We do not host a cloud library of your exports.
Sample / mock workouts. If you use built-in sample or mock data for demos, that data remains on device.
When you grant Apple Health access, the App may read workout sessions you authorize — such as workout type, duration, distance, energy, heart rate samples associated with that workout, and route/GPS data needed to render maps and route replay. This data is processed on your device to compose share cards and videos.
We do not receive HealthKit contents on our servers. You can revoke Health access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health. Uninstalling the App removes on-device Health caches created by the App.
The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes. Events may include screen names, button labels, layout/theme identifiers, subscription funnel steps, and anonymous device/app metadata.
We intentionally avoid logging personally identifiable information, workout UUIDs, GPS coordinates, Health sample values, names, or free-text Health content. Google’s processing of analytics data is also subject to Google’s privacy terms for Firebase.
Optional Workout Social Pro subscriptions and lifetime unlocks are purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Apple processes payment and maintains subscription status. We receive entitlement signals needed to unlock Pro features; we do not receive your full payment card details.
Uninstalling the App removes on-device preferences and caches. To stop Health access, revoke permissions in iOS Settings. To manage App Store purchases and subscriptions, use your Apple ID subscription settings. Analytics data retained by Firebase is aggregate/pseudonymous according to that service’s retention practices.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
The Service Provider is based in India. By using the App, you understand that information processed through Apple services (HealthKit, App Store) and Firebase may be handled in countries where those providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
